local activities and fundraising

T.S. Northumbria is a registered charity and relies on grants and local fundraising to finance the facility.

Our Registered Charity number is 1116230.

It is our aim to keep the course fees to our staff and cadets down to a minimum, so that boating is affordable to all within our region.

We are now undertaking a new project to incorporate an expansion programme which will allow us to build new accommodation and teaching facilities at Derwenthaugh.  The programme will also include installation of pontoons on the river, which will aid access to our boats.  We are fortunate to have won The Peoples Millions, which will pay for the installation of the Pontoons.  This is an enormous help but we still need your support if the building is to be realised.
